I work with individuals seeking therapy for a variety of reasons including depression, anxiety, feelings of overwhelm, recent life transitions, grief and loss, chronic health issues, trauma, self esteem and relationship problems. Often times individuals seek therapy because they feel stuck or unsatisfied with a part of their life, or want to explore negative patterns that are holding them back. I also work with individuals who are wanting to improve their feelings of overall happiness, life satisfaction and work towards self actualization.
By creating a therapeutic relationship that provides feelings of trust, safety and compassion, individuals are able to explore their feelings and be met with respect and empathy. I work with client's to identify how their life has been impacted by their experiences, and work to develop goals for positive change in their lives.
Individual therapy for divorce & separation
I specialize in Individual Therapy for adults and children who are affected by divorce and separation in their family. Often times children feel caught in the middle of their parent's conflict and can benefit from having a safe space to talk about their feelings and receive support with the changes in their families. I work with adults going through the transition of separation and divorce by providing emotional support, processing feelings of grief and loss, learning how to manage difficult emotions and focusing on self-care during this difficult time.
